Advancing equity through M Health Fairview’s Key Roles
M Health Fairview aspires to advance equity in its key roles as an employer, healthcare provider, academic institution, and corporate citizen. At the center is the need to elevate the voices of those most impacted by issues of inequity in order to co-create a more equitable future. Of critical importance is leveraging the institution’s leadership and resources to demonstrate commitment to achieving transformational change over the long-term.
The focus of the HOPE Commission is two-fold: to center the perspectives of those who are often marginalized as well as to address the foundational challenges that could undermine transformative, sustainable change on issues of equity. In 2020, the HOPE Commission will coordinate an organizational engagement process, with concentrated outreach between mid-September to mid-November, to develop a 2021 workplan, including key executive champion initiatives.
